Welcome Volunteer and Outreach Intern Mariana!

Hello everyone! My name is Mariana Erana Salmeron and I am the Volunteer & Outreach Intern this summer. I am a rising junior at The College of William & Mary studying French and Global Studies with a concentration in Europe. I believe the best way to live our lives is in harmony, which means that I love growing in all areas of my life. I am a bullet journal junkie so I have a growing library of all my journals and I strive to create personal development content which I share through my podcast All About Attitude. I love singing and dancing so throughout my time in college I have helped start and lead praise & worship in campus ministry and I am part of the hip hop dancing group called Syndicate. Thanks to visiting 21+ countries and living in 4 different ones throughout my life, traveling and learning languages is one of my greatest passions. And of course you can always find me at my happy place: having coffee and chatting about life with my friends and family.

I am passionate about working with people and supporting them to thrive and become the best version of themselves, which is why I am incredibly grateful to be part of Generation Hope and help carry out this mission. I hope to learn more about the nonprofit, international and educational sectors during my time in D.C. and get to witness the beautiful stories of the people I encounter.
