Meet our Operations Intern Marc!

Hi, my name is Marc Charbonier and I’m super excited to be the Operations Intern this summer. I’m a rising junior at William & Mary, majoring in Sociology. I’m in love with the earth and the hearts of the people on it. My favorite things in the world are the golden hour before sunset, my friends’ couches, and laughing until I cry. At college, I’m a part of an organization dedicated to the alleviation of poverty and homelessness in Williamsburg and I’ve taken lots of courses related to social issues and community engagement. Long term, I would love to dedicate my life to the pursuit of social justice, because I see justice as love in action. I feel super lucky to be a part of the Generation Hope team because I’m continually in awe of how important and impactful its work is. Also, in joining this team, I’ve doubled the number of veggie-eating, Camino-walking, earthy crunchy people on it, as well as raised the number of guys in the office to an unprecedented high.
