Welcome to our new Program Intern, Sara Beth!

Hello! My name is Sara Beth and I am so excited to join the Generation Hope family as the Program Intern this spring. I grew up in the small mountain town of Blairsville, GA. In December, I graduated from the University of Georgia with degrees in Political Science and History. In August, I made the move to DC through an internship program at UGA. Over the past few months, I was at the Center for American Progress as their Education Policy intern. Through my time in school and at the Center for American Progress, I learned and became interested about the intersectionality of several social issues. Because of this interest, I am looking forward to my time at Generation Hope.

I love getting out and exploring DC, reading, Netflix binge watching, hiking, and cheering on the Dawgs.

I am so excited to become a part of the Generation Hope family and contribute to the great work they do.
