Hello! My name is Skye and I am honored to be joining the Generation Hope family this fall. I am from all over, and have recently put down roots in Arlington, VA. Since I've never lived in a big city, I am thrilled by all that D.C. has to offer in these upcoming months. As a senior at the College of William and Mary, where I am majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Public Health with a focus in Medical Anthropology and women's reproductive rights, I will be graduating this May. I strongly believe that education is a major catalyst in reducing poverty and improving the life of our society and future generations. Youth education and sustainable development in the healthcare field are true passions of mine. Therefore, I look forward to learning how my work with Generation Hope and the higher education system will tie into my cultural and medical interests.
I'm an avid traveler, and published photographer. Learning to cook beyond the basics is my new adventure (tips or hints are welcome). I love to be outdoors so any recommendations for good hiking spots would also be appreciated!
The values and energy of this organization are those that I truly support and I am simply delighted to be a part of the Generation Hope team this fall.
