My name is Charlotte Mabon and I am beyond thrilled to be the Summer Program Intern at Generation Hope for the next few months! I feel completely honored by this opportunity, and cannot wait for the upcoming weeks to be working alongside the team of individuals that believe and support Generation Hope’s mission – a cause that is very close to my heart.
I am from a small town in Pennsylvania called Landenberg, and thus will be enjoying everything DC has to offer! Currently, I am rising senior at the College of William and Mary where I am double majoring in Government and Sociology with a focus in Gender Studies (GO TRIBE!). I hope to one day to be doing the same work that Generation Hope does because I am truly passionate about and believe in the power of young women and men who are typically overlooked in society.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, but I particularly like to go boating, camping, and hiking with them! I am an avid thrifter who likes to trail run, and I love being an Aunt to my three young nephews.
I look forward to being a part of the Generation Hope team this summer. I could not imagine a better place to intern. The family-centered culture of Generation Hope is absolutely refreshing, and I am so thankful to be a part of this mission!
